 I was in search of a home appraiser and after connecting with a couple, I decided to go with AFK Appraisal. The reason for my decision was based on their prompt reply to my inquiry for a quote, the price was reasonable, and they are located within Bartlett which is local for me. I also found other appraisal companies, such as larger companies, did not have a personable or detail-oriented approach. To me, those factors are important when assessing the value of my home, and are what I found in AFK.

From outreach to scheduling to the actual appraisal, this took no more than a week and they were accommodating to my schedule. The communication was timely and effective. The appraisal was completed and to my surprise they were able to send the report the same day. I feel it’s important to note other companies I was initially looking at had reviews where reports took 2-4 weeks. While I can’t speak to the standard turnaround time at AFK, I was very pleased with the timeliness of our experience.

The report itself was very thorough, and I’m pleased with the comparable homes researched as well as the information on my home. Both Ryan and Brian have been wonderful to work with which makes a difference too.
